課程概述 |
This semester of Advanced English aims to equip graduate students with the skills required to explore the polyphony of western literature. The course will introduce students to various genres of literature in the western tradition, especially fiction and poetry. |

課程目標 |
The course places particular emphasis on textual analysis with the aim to aid the student to venture deeper into the bountiful depth of western culture and literary studies. |

課程要求 |
Students are expected to hand in a polished research paper in English by the end of the semester. |
